For Spring Break we went to the zoo on Tuesday. It was a lot of fun. We got to see all the animals. We have a few new animals at our zoo: Tiger Cubs, Zebras, and Giant Anteaters. It was a great day!

One night a few weeks ago while the Dad's were playing basketball
the mom's and little kids went to target for some retail therapy.
It was a lot of fun!!

Happy 7 month Birthday!!

Nolen is 7 months old today!
Time flies when you are having fun!
Nolen loves to eat his favorite foods are:
sweet potatoes, carrots, applesauce, pears and bananas.
He loves to take baths and watch his big brother.

Prayer Request

Please pray for my Grandaddy. He is in the CCU at Centennial Hospital. He has fluid built up around his heart and lungs. He also has a staph infection. My Granny is waiting on some test result to see if he needs to go on a ventilator. Please pray that that does not happen because his lungs are too weak he would probably would not be able to come off it. Also please pray for Granny to have strength because she may have to make some hard decisions today. They just aren't sure yet. Thank you!

Bath Time

Last night I put Nolen in the big bath tub for the very first time.
He was splashing and trying to reach for all the toys.

He was just a little boy,

On a week's first day.

Wandering home from Bible school,

And dawdling on the way.

He scuffed his shoes into the grass;

He even found a caterpillar.

He found a fluffy milkweed pod,

And blew out all the 'filler.'

A bird's nest in a tree overhead,

So wisely placed up so high.

Was just another wonder,

That caught his eager eye.

A neighbor watched his zig zag course,

And hailed him from the lawn;

Asked him where he'd been that day

And what was going on.

'I've been to Bible School ,'

He said and turned a piece of sod.

He picked up a wiggly worm replying,

'I've learned a lot about God.'

'M'm very fine way,' the neighbor said,

'for a boy to spend his time.'

'If you'll tell me where God is,

I'll give you a brand new dime.'

Quick as a flash the answer came!

Nor were his accents faint.

'I'll give you a dollar, Mister,

If you can tell me where God ain't.'

Pizza Night

While Daddy was in Las Vegas helping the
Blue Man Group.
We had pizza night. Grady loves to help me cook.
So I thought that we would make little mini pizzas out of biscuits and he could put his own topping on them. He loved them and had a great time!!!

Nolen's 6th Month Check-up

Nolen had his 6 month check-up today.
He got 3 shots. ouch :(
He weighs 18 lbs (51st percentile)
He is 26 inches tall (25th percentile)
Head Circumference 44 1/2 centimeters (75th percentile)
He is growing up too fast. Slow down bud!

Nolen's First Snow

This morning before church Nolen got to "play" outside in the snow.
At first he didn't know what to think.
